If God gave us the Bible so that we could understand Him better, then why are some parts of it VERY confusing? Why didn't he make everything clear? If so, how can I help out?     If you had two minutes to convince a person of a different belief about Jesus being our Lord and Savior, what would you say? 1. God wants us to be with Him. 2. Our sin (all the wrong things that we do) separates us from Him. 3. Sin CANNOT be removed by anything that we do--no matter how good it may be. 4. The only way to remove sin is with a blood sacrifice. Only the shedding of perfect blood can completely wash it away. Jesus did that for us when he died on the cross. 5. Everyone who trusts in what Jesus did for us will live eternally. 6. Living eternally means being with God forever in heaven. There are so many questions that people can ask, but all I can say is: once I was lost, but now I am found; once I was blind, but now I can see; once I was dead, but now I have life. That's my story of what Jesus did for me, and that's how I know that He is real.
