About Us Riverpointe Christian Church began in 1959, meeting in a local elementary school on Grosse Ile. We moved to our present location in the early 1960s, with the current office space being the original meeting sanctuary. In the late 1960s, construction was begun on the current sanctuary. We own free and clear our buildings and the approximately five acres we inhabit. We will celebrated our 50th Anniversary in May of 2009 with a three day program including an ice cream social, golf outing, concert, and a service of memories, worship and celebration. We look forward to the next 50 years to serve and bring honor and glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
